midlife or menopause?

The truth is, I cannot separate the two. And that is exactly the point.

Every time I sit down to write a bio, a debate happens: Is this work about menopause—the physiological, hormone-induced changes in the body, brain, and physical health that demand a completely new way of tending to ourselves? Or is it about midlife—the emotional and psychospiritual changes of identity, body image, body grief, evolving wisdom, and a return to our wild hearts?

Mission

For too long, women have been taught to live a disconnected life, treating their bodies like machines and their spirits as separate entities. The menopause transition is a whole-person evolution. You cannot tend to the changing landscape of your physical heart without also tending to the emotional heartscape of who you are becoming.

My own path landed me in an induced menopause after the surgical removal of my ovaries. Caught completely by surprise and left with zero guidance, I had to spend over seven years in deep personal exploration, redefining what health, movement, and care look like when the old rulebooks no longer work.

On the psychospiritual side, my own redefinition comes from more than 25 years of practicing as a licensed therapist. That deep clinical background in human behavior ultimately led me to this moment: an emergence into harmonized mind and body work.

Today, my work is strictly a non-clinical space dedicated to coaching, movement, and restoration. I am here to help you stop navigating this terrain on empty, to step out of survival mode, and to gracefully author the second chapter of your life story.

THE WORD heartscapes

A heartscape is the internal landscape we navigate during the deep transition of midlife. It is the exact place where your changing physical biology meets your evolving spiritual identity. For too long, women have been taught to live a disconnected life—treating their physical symptoms in one room and their emotional hearts in another. A heartscape approach refuses to separate the two. It is a map for the second chapter of life, guiding you away from external demands and into a profound return to your own wise, wild heart.

Why the Heart Matters

  • Physical Vitality: Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women. Tending to our physical heart health during the menopause transition is a medical necessity.

  • The Shift from Outer to Inner: Midlife invites us to stop living for everyone else's expectations. It forces a beautiful shift from the outer world to the inner landscape, allowing us to eventually bring a more authentic, grounded version of ourselves back out.

  • Life Beyond Reproduction: We deserve practices, movements, and community connections that call to us and sustain us in the unique gift of these bonus years, long after our reproductive years have ended.

By blending nervous system-focused consulting, somatic coaching, and restorative rest, we tend to your physical heart, calm your nervous system, and help you navigate your own unique heartscape with absolute self-trust.
